Greenfield, named after Greenfield, New Hampshire, is a located in Saratoga County. A rural community, the town of Greenfield is located approximately 5 miles north of Saratoga Springs in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. It was formed in 1793 and has grown to a population of approximately 7,400. Geographically, it is the largest Town in Saratoga County covering over 41,000 acres.
